Default receiving fax

I am able to send a fax but cannot receive fax
using microsoft fax program as installed at dell factory
windows xp
please help in layman's terms

My problem is with fax configuration(i think).
I don't understand csid or tsid.

Those settings will not affect fax transmission. In your Fax Settings you
must enable the program to receive faxes and designate the number of rings
after which it answers a call.
