Can't open documents. Get "file not available"
I have both Office 2003 and Office 2007 (just installed), but every time I
try to open a document (even a brand new saved document), I get the message "xxxx file is not available." This happens with word docs and publisher docs. I uninstalled my older version of Norton AntiVirus software (corporate edition), but that hasn't solved the problem. I am not on a network. I recently installed Google Desktop. Could that have anything to do with it? |

It shouldn't but you could try uninstalling it and see if the problem is
resolved. -- JoAnn Paules Microsoft MVP - Publisher How to ask a question http://support.microsoft.com/kb/555375 "snazz" wrote in message ... Never mind. I deleted the officeav.dll file which I read about in a post from
2005 and it seemed to work. Thanks anyway!
