Default Using wild cards in blocking

I've recently received a slew of similar spam. All the messages come from
addresses which start with "joe" plus a varying bunch of other characters. Is
there any way in OE6 where I can attach a wild card to "joe" in my blocked
senders list? I've tried "Joe*" but that doesn't work

Thanks in advance
