Default zoom limits

Is there a way to change the limits for zooming in visio 2003. On my laptop I
can zoom into a drawing 24000% and on my desk top I can only zoom in 947%

I thought I saw a post awhile ago that said something like "visio sets
limits based on it's perception of the system performance". It sounds like
you may have to either dumb one down or upgrade the other. Perhaps Mark can
provide some feedback.

That's a different topic, Al! The issue here is screen resolution and
monitor settings. Visio generates an image for the entire page even if you
are only zoomed in to display a portion of it. That image is a maximum of
32,000 (roughly) pixels wide. When you divide by the current number of
pixels in your screen resolution and then by the DPI setting of your
monitor, you get a maximum zoom level that Visio can display.

This limitation goes back to Windows 9x operating systems and is no longer
necessary. I believe that Service Pack 2 of Visio 2003 removed this
limitation. Otherwise Visio 2007 will.
