Detect email forwarding rules on outlook 2003 client
Hi,
We are currently running Outlook 2003 client and are on Exchange2003/2007 platform. Our management is concerned that some users might be forwarding all the corporate email to personal email accounts outside the company. So we are being asked to find out who is doing it and how we can stop this in future. So my question, is it possible to detect who is forwarding emails to external accounts. Only way I see that happeing is by crearing forwarding rules, however I have not been able to determine a way to grab that information using a configuration managment tool (SMS, Altiris, etc). I was hoping that information is kept in a registry somewhere which can be read back. Secondly, lets say its not possible to determine who is doing it. What about disabling the feature, at first thought we may have to disable the rules functionality completely but that will cause major issues because rules are also used for other purposes. Any help in this matter is much appreciated. Thanks |
