Default Font Questions

Hello,

Two questions, please:

a. is it possible to have the number or text in a cell show up as
"reversed" ?
e.g., a clear (or background) color surrounded by black ?

b. how does one change, and make permanent, a default font that I would
like to use all the time ?

Thanks,
Bob

That is not really a 'font'
You could fill a range (or single cell) with a black fill and then change
the font colour to white
It looks ugly!
best wishes

Default Font Questions

What version? In Excel 2007, Click on the Office button, select Excel options
in the bottom right corner. Select the Popular category on the left column
and under the heading "When creating new workbooks" select you new font next
to "use this font". IOn 2003, it should be on the tools menu under opetions.

Default Font Questions

Hello:

Thanks you very much.

Is there something similar in Word 2007 to select a default font ?

I looked, honest, but can't seem to find where or how to do it.
Would like to select the font and size for all new documents I create.

Much thanks,
Bob

Default From OP: Font Questions

Hi,

Thanks for help; appreciate it.

I think your suggestion does not apply to Word 2007 ?
There is no Tools and Options menus in the 2007 version.

Any idea where they put it now for the 2007 Word ?

Thanks,
Bob
