Default can i determine the product key from an installed copy of office 2

i'm trying to figure out what the office 2k3 product key is on a computer
where office 2k3 is already installed. i'm taking inventory of
machines/licenses and trying to match up undocumented keys with actual
installations.

thanks.

If Office 2003 is currently installed on the computer, then the
product key used to install the software is stored in the Windows
registry, and you should be able to retrieve the product key
using one of these utilities:

Belarc Advisor
http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html

Magical Jellybean Finder

Download a tool from this link and then run it on a system where Office 2003
is installed:

The fastest and easiest tool for the activation key for Office 2003 is
version 1.51 of keyfinder from
http://www.magicaljellybean.com/keyfinder/old.shtml

Once the file is unzipped it doesn't have to be installed but can be run
from a network share on each computer. It will find the Office 2003 key and
also the Windows OS key. The newer version of the software 2.0.1 will find
the key for Office versions from XP to 2007 and a lot of other programs also
but takes longer to run. I don't know about the software that 20100213
describes in his post and Belarc is a good program but it would need to be
installed and run on each machine and the output is large and the program's
installation key is a little hard to find.

I use Keyfinder when I only need a key. I use Belarc when I need a lot of
information about a computer.
