Default How do I re-install Microsoft Office Professional 2003

I have an OEM and need to re-install. Do I need to do a full system backup
or can I just backup my documents?

kiddosmom,
You should backup your .pst file if you use Outlook. Use the search function
in Windows XP (enable hidden files and folders) also My Documents folders and
any other information you want to keep. If you have the option to do a full
system backup you could do both, then choose how you want to import your
saved data.
Do not import your .pst file. See this article:

Likely that your oem version of Office will compress and partition your hard
drive so you will end up with less hd space. If you have problems with your
oem installation, activation, etc... your support comes from the
manufacturer, not MS.
