hyperlink to shape by double click
I have looked through many posts but could not find the answer. I need to
hyperlink an off page connector to a specific shape on another page. I can set up the hyperlink fine, but have to right click on the shape to get it to work. I want to be able to double click on it and have it go right to the shape. I saw that you should go to the shapesheet and in the events section change the dblclick event to a hyperlink formula, but what is the right formula syntax that I need to enter? It keeps giving me a formula error. |

hyperlink to shape by double click
Actually I think all you need to do is to select the Off-page connector shape
once it is on the drawing page right mouse click, format behavior locate the double- click tab select the go to page radio button, select the page you want. If you check the ShapeSheet for the shape under events the EventDblClick cell should contain the following “GOTOPAGE(“Page-some number”)”. -- James W.
