Default Can I define a non-standard paper size in Publisher?

I want to pre-cut paper to a non-standard size, and print straight on to it
for brochures, rather than having to print onto A4 and then cut down to the
brochure size. Is there any way in Publisher of defining a non-standard
paper size?

Publisher (2003) will allow you to set any custom page size you want from
..017"x.017" to 20'x20' - The question is whether the *printer* offers the
desired paper size/custom setting as an option.

AFAIK, if the FilePage Setup - Printer & Paper list of Paper - Size: or the
printer's Properties dialog doesn't list that size or "Custom" you'll have
to continue printing on larger stock & trimming afterward. There may still
be a size listed that is closer to your desired custom size which may be
more economical than using A4. (BTW - Generally, inkjets are more likely to
offer custom paper size options than are laser printers.)

Publisher is very good with custom sizes as long as the custom size is defined
in your printer properties first. Most printers have custom settings you can
create, save and use over and over.
