Default Can't save to server - KB980232 - How to remove?

Hi,
I had posted this question before, but I think I placed it in the wrong area
so i apologize.

Apparently a lot of people where having a problem saving Office files to
servers after the MS update on April 13th---

I have the same problem and I have been attempting to remove the KB980232
update without success. The update does not shown up in Add/Remove programs.
Does show up by going to the MS Update site as being installed on the 4/13. I
found the info in the Registry and the uninstall info
as:C:\WINDOWS\$NtUninstallKB980232$\spuninst\spuni nst.exe. However, I get an
error "The system cannot find the path specified".
There are 4 directories in windows listed as $NtUninstall.... of various
types but nothing as required above. The all the various KB files are listed
a dir of $hf_mig$.
Going into the KB980232 dir and changing the path to
C:\windows\$hf_mig$\kb980232\spuninst.exe i got an error saying it couldn't
find an inf file. That was located in a dir under "update" in the KB909232
dir. Copied the inf file over and reran it again and a window came up saying
this "will remove XP" ???
I stopped there! I tried to RESTORE but everyone failed prior to the 13th.
So now what???
Thanks and have a great day,
