Default AntiVirus Software

I hope I have this question in the right place.but if not, I apologize.

All of a sudden I keep getting this Internet AntiVirus Pop-Up thing coming
on my screen every two minutes. It's not in the install/uninstall list and I
don't know how to get rid of it or how it got there. I have Norton 360 and I
ran a scan and it shows evevything is all right. This other thing keeps
telling me I have 146 viruses, Trojan something is on it like 20 times.

How do I get rid of it? Oh, yes, they want me to purchase it for $89.99, of
course. My pop-up blocker is on.

Thanks so much

This isnt an Office question, what it means is that your PC is infected with
malaware which is not the same as a virus and many anti virus packages are
not that successfull in detecting/removing malaware.
You will need to scan your PC with several malaware detection apps;
MS Defender, Adaware, and SpyBot all being free
Other than that post to a 'security' group for advice, or one that supports
your o/s

Thanks so much for answering my question, even though it doesn't belong here.
It's really helped me.
