Default blurred text in powerpoint

Has anyone come across this problem? When I open a powerpoint presentation I
get very blurred text - so much so that its difficult to read - the images
on the powerpoint slide are sharp - its just the text that comes in blurred

Mike,
You are running into one of my pet bugs. I never used to see this, then I
changed monitors and now see it all the time. Information on how to reduce
the effect of the blurred/jaggy text can be found on this PPT FAQ page:
Animated text goes jagged in Screen Show

If you would be interested in providing some data on your system to help
track down where the problem occurs, feel free to email me off the newsgroup
and I will tell you what information is needed about your system. (To email
me, unknot my address.)
