Removing multiple instances of "personal folders" in Outlook 2002
Somehow I've managed to generate multiple instances of the above (about 4).
What I would like to do is either delete them directly, or if that is not possibe, to strip my mail boxes (containing 182MB of mail) out of the .pst file, back them up and re-install outlook. -- Buddy |

The easiest way to fix the issue of "ghost" .PST files is to create a new
mail profile from scratch. You can do this via Control Panel | Mail | Show Profiles. -- Jocelyn Fiorello MVP - Outlook *** Messages sent to my e-mail address will NOT be answered -- please reply only to the newsgroup to preserve the message thread. *** In , eejay wrote: Somehow I've managed to generate multiple instances of the above (about 4). You can add the .PST file with the 182 MB of data to the new profile...there
will just be one copy of it this time and not 4. -- Jocelyn Fiorello MVP - Outlook *** Messages sent to my e-mail address will NOT be answered -- please reply only to the newsgroup to preserve the message thread. *** "eejay" wrote in message ...
