Default All appointments change to blue

In Vista, the calendar appointments were all color-coded. I synchronized the
calendar with my cell phone for the first time in this new Vista PC, and all
of the color-coded appointments turned to blue. As I create new
appointments, I can color code each one, but something seems to have happened.

check the sync settings - it sounds like its removing/replacing the
categories.
