Filling in form fields
"Anne Troy" wrote in message ... I'm sorry, Snow, but it really looks to me like this is intentional--especially since they password protected it. However, if you want to unprotect the document, simply close it, create a blank doc, and hit Insert--File, and choose the form. Anything you've previously filled out will likely be lost once you reprotect it, tho. Depends on your version and the settings. Good luck with it! This worked out really well, Anne. Thanks so much!! I couldn't get the form to let me add in page breaks correctly and such but was finally able to create the document I wanted by printing pages from a regular doc file and adding those in. And with unprotecting the document I was able to at least get the one field to go down to the bottom of that page. I had a tech analyst friend look at the form. He's taken the MS courses and even he said that the problem was that the forms were done improperly, which made me feel a lot better! Again, thanks so much for your help!! Teri |
