auto-rule to create all calender appts "private"
I've looked through a lot of other calendar privacy threads, but haven't been
able to find an answer to this. Is there a way to automatically have ALL of your appointments be set to private by default, instead of remembering to select the "private" button? |

Yes, with a customized form. Basic steps are at
http://www.slipstick.com/contacts/homedefault.htm - using the calendar form and private checkbox instead. Use this method to set the private field on existing items: http://www.outlook-tips.net/archives/2003/20030714.htm See the last section of http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/publish_form.htm if you need help setting the new form as your default. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Outlook Tips by email: EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: "Liz" wrote in message ... This worked great and it was easier to do than I first thought. Thanks to the
OP for asking the question and to Diane for an easy answer. "Diane Poremsky [MVP]" wrote: Yes, with a customized form.
