Default Which font is used when replying

In my experience, if the original message was sent with the character set
"utf-8", any plain-text response is sent with UTF-8 regardless of the font
option selected. I consider this to be a defect in OE6, since my font
option usually overrides any other character set that I've encountered in
original messages.

The only way I found to override this is to send in HTML format.

The whole company wants to standardize on one signle font (Times New
Roman) for all email replies. So oftentimes, we have to change the font
manually when replying, We just want to get rid of this tedious job.

Hope you can help.

still be used? Or will it use the font used by the original sender? If
so,
what happen if you don't have that particular font on your PC?

Depends on the client and the client's settings. It's not one size fits
all and shouldn't be exptected to ber.

If so, what happen if you don't have that

Your PC will use the nearest font to the original that you have. Or,
the font might be embedded; several other things; no one size fits all
answer again.

Use your Search Engine and your mail client's own Help section if you're
having trouble coming up with search terms.
