Default auto-rule to create all calender appts "private"

I've looked through a lot of other calendar privacy threads, but haven't been
able to find an answer to this. Is there a way to automatically have ALL of
your appointments be set to private by default, instead of remembering to
select the "private" button?

Yes, with a customized form. Basic steps are at
http://www.slipstick.com/contacts/homedefault.htm - using the calendar form
and private checkbox instead.

Use this method to set the private field on existing items:

See the last section of
http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/publish_form.htm if you need help
setting the new form as your default.

This worked great and it was easier to do than I first thought. Thanks to the
OP for asking the question and to Diane for an easy answer.
