Default auto correct

i am trying to expand a number used throughout a text document using auto correct. the number is between parentheses and every time i expand the number it puts in an extra space and then the document will not upload because there are too many spaces in the field. i.e. (003) expands to (2458302 ) note the extra space. Can I get auto correct to just put the exact number in and not the space.

You certainly can. Any punctuation, including a parenthesis, will trigger th
expansion. Make sure there isn't an extra space in the autocorrect
definition.
