Creating Dynamic Word Documents
Hello,
I have a excel spreadsheet 10x10, with data in it. Each row has data to a specific subject, I wanted to know if it was possible to input a row of data into Word and make AutoFields sort of say to get the data from each column and put it in a specific part of the document. If you don't understand what I am saying, I will try to clarify it. Is it possible to have Word do this? Thanks |

Creating Dynamic Word Documents
I think what you are describing is known in Word-ese as MailMerge. I
regularly merge with Excel spreadsheets. Each row is treated as a record. Columns are individual merge fields within the record. -- Charles Kenyon Word New User FAQ & Web Directory: http://addbalance.com/word Intermediate User's Guide to Microsoft Word (supplemented version of Microsoft's Legal Users' Guide) http://addbalance.com/usersguide See also the MVP FAQ: http://www.mvps.org/word which is awesome! --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- This message is posted to a newsgroup.
