Default Lost Hyperlinks

Hi
I started new Word-2000 doc as a copy of another old doc.
Suddenly I paid attention that all hyperlinks don't work (cross-references, TOC, etc.)
That means, when I click on it I obtain a Open file dialog box (instead of jumping).
As a result, Acrobat don't build alive hyperlinks.
Any suggestion would be appreciated

G'day "Gregory" ,

This _may_ help - it depends on how you made the new doc
