Default Outlook not working...OWA is

We have two computers in the office. Connected to the same network. I can
open outlook and i can get on with OWA. The other computer will not log in
using outlook. but it will using OWA. Same user name, Same Password. Using
server2k8 with exchange 7 (on an outside network). Any Suggestions?
Thanks for any help.

Thanks for the quick reply.
Nope...nothing. I keep putting in the password and it just keeps coming back
asking fo the password again. But if I use OWA...it works just fine.
Everything else works on that machine.

Assuming the difficult workstation is connecting via RPC over HTTPS (aka
Outlook Anywhere), did you check that the authentication is set the same as
the other machine? (e.g. Basic vs NTLM in the Exchange proxy area.)

Yes, the authentication is set to Basic. Actually both machines are setup
exactly the same.

On this difficult machine, does it happen for any user that logs onto the
machine or just the one person? Reason I ask is that it may help isolate
the issue to something funky with the end user's profile rather than it
being machine wide. For example, the end user could have accidently saved a
password for the Exchange server and it just needs to be cleared.

Only one person uses the machine. However, I did clear out all saved
passwords and no change.

Okay, but this doesn't help make a determination if the problem is isolated
to the OS user profile. The easiest check would be to have you logon to the
machine with your credentials and see if Outlook behaves the same way.
