Default Rules set-up - Server side

HI,

I have tried to set up a rule that is server based, "reply to emails coming
from a specific list of email address and have the server respond with this
specific message" Is there something that I am missing to get this to work?
I have been able to get this to work with client based

Why would you want the server to reply to an e-mail? The reply should come
from the recipient, not the server.

Having the server send the reply is akin to having the post office send the
reply. Your mother sends you a birthday card, and you are setting the post
office to send the thank you note. Why would you want that?

When an e-mail makes it's way through the system, it should not be replied
to until it gets to the recipient. I suppose you could want to send out a
"thanks for your interest in our stuff," kind of message, but I think you
would do that from the recipient not the server.

Somebody sends you a message, and when it gets to your Inbox, then you
automatically send out the reply. I'm not the expert here, but I think this
message comes from you, the client, not from the server. You can go in and
setup the auto-reply -- thanks for shopping here, I'm on vacation and your
message went to Joe, I'll respond by 3:00pm tomorrow, whatever.
