Can't get connector lines to change from elbow to straight
Each end of my connector line has a grey circle with an X in it. Even when I
get the lines to appear with red circles on each end, I can NOT get to a menu where I can change the elbow connector to a straight one. |

You can't change connector types, so you'd be better off deleting the existing
one and then selecting the type you want to replace it and then draw it. By the way, did you know that you can drag the Connector menu and dock it on your slide for easy access? Go to AutoShapes and up to Connectors. Move your cursor to the dotted line at the to of the fly out menu. Press and hold the left mouse button while you drag the menu wherever you want it. It's very handy if you need quick access to the menu. Any menu that has the dotted line at the top can be docked this way. -- Sonia Coleman Microsoft PowerPoint MVP Team Autorun Software, Templates and Tutorials "grrrrr" wrote in message ... It appears you have a connector that's a part of a group shape. When you select the connector line and right-click on it, don't you see a menu items (Straight connector, Elbow connector, Curve connector)? -- Regards Shyam Pillai Handout Wizard: http://skp.mvps.org/how/ "grrrrr" wrote in message ... Now why didn't I think of that? I'm slapping myself and it only hurts a little
because I'm so happy to learn something new. VBG "Shyam Pillai" wrote in message ... Each end of my connector line has a gray circle with an X in it. If you right clic on the connector line, the options should pop-up in a menu.
