How to edit text in colum
I have a column of phone numbers listed as 1-555-555-5555 and need to format
it to 555-55-5555 (removing the 1-) and I can't find it anywhere. Can anyone help? Thanks so much.

In another column, use the formula =RIGHT(A2,LEN(A2)-2) and copy down. Unless the dashes are added by formatting... HTH, Bernie MS Excel MVP "Michelle22" wrote in message ...
