Default How do I get Outlook 2003 to remember my POP password?

Microsoft Knowledge Base article 290684 does not work (see:
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=290684).
I have followed its instructions several times and I still get asked for
my password everytime I access my account when using Outlook 2003. However,
if I use Outlook Express (OE), it remembers my password. In fact, it was
remembered in Outlook 2003 until several weeks ago when it just started
asking for the password every time it checked for new messages. Any ideas?
I have had to revert back to using OE until I can figure this out. I could
really use a fix for this.

Thanks
