Clearing Macros Out of Visio Files

Hello,

I would like to know how I completely remove any macros in a Visio
File please? As well I would also need to remove any references it
might have with macros in other files, like the template file, where
it too might have macros contained inside.

one techniques that is sometimes mentioned is to save the file in xml format
and do your editing there.
