Meaning of Referential Integrity ("on parent update") Notation
When I create an ER diagram in Visio, and I have created a relationship, I
can select the "Referential Action" property under "Categories" and set it to one of the following: On parent update OR On parent delete No Action Cascade Set NULL Set default Don not enforce The notation displayed on the diagram is u:R d:R if I have "No action" selected. What does the "R" stand for? |
