Convert .mdl file to Visio file (vsd)
The Rational Rose mdl files are structured text based files, so it is
possible to read these files and create a Visio drawing. The key would be finding a document that describes the structure of the mdl file or take the time to reinterpret what is in the file versus what is on a drawing. John... Converting
If you open Rational, select the diagram that interests you, choose "Copy the Active Diagram" from the Edit menu.
Then open Visio, paste the diagram and ungroup it to make manipulation possible. I hope that helps.
