Default Excel Macro Security

I cannot get the macro security option "Trust all
installed Add-Ins and templates" selection to hold. That
is, when I restart Excel it loses the check by it. I
unistalled Office and reinstalled from the original CD,
but to no avail.

Do you have an AV installed? (When you go to Tools Options Security -- does it
say at bottom left -- No AV scanner installed or something else?)
