Activating trial version
My dad bought a computer with a trial version of XP on it and now wants to
activate it. However, the 25 digit serial number is wrong according to microsoft website when he goes through the activation process. Thus he is stuck, what are his options for proceeding to activate the software? TIA |

Make sure you are using the Office XP activation key and not the one for
Windows. If this was a used computer, the trial version is most likely no longer valid. XP is an older version of Office. You can download the new trial version at the Office web site.
