Office 2007 Standard Install Error Message, Missing Standard.ww.ca
I am trying to install Office 2007 Standard on a brand new 64 bit HP
computer. I get the following message. Setup cannot find Standardr.ww.cab. Brouse to a valid installation source, and then click ok. I have uninstalled the trial versions and activation assistant. I have tried to install on top of Office 2007 Home and Student. I can find the "standardr.ww.cab" on the install cd. I have tried moving it to my C disk to no avail. Others in various forums have had this problem. The only solution posted was the uninstalling which I have tried. I noticed that there are 64 bit versions in the Standardr.ww.cab directory but I don't know how to choose them. Is this a 64 bit issue. My activation code is accepted. Vista is up to date. |

Sounds like there is some left over's still installed from the Trial or you many
tries of installing. Use the below MS KB and remove all instances of all Office installs if you cannot remove them from Add]Remove http://support.microsoft.com/kb/928218 -- Peter Please Reply to Newsgroup for the benefit of others Requests for assistance by email can not and will not be acknowledged.
