Axis Options - Minimum and Maximum Values
I'm sure this is a standing suggestion, but I thought I would add it again.
In addition to Auto and Fixed options for setting the Minimum and Maximum Values on an axis, there needs to be one that would allow the user to use a value in a cell. There are two specific use cases where this would be most helpful: A. You want the range of the axis to be the minimum and maximum values plotted for a selected data series. This would be easily accomplished by the following: A1. Create the data series. A2. Create cells containing the Min() and Max() values. A3. Selecting the data for the series. A4. Selecting the Min() and Max() cells as the Minimum and Maximum of the chart. B. You have multiple charts based on several sets of data, and you want them all to use the same range (e.g., 0-100 for multiple charts with percents). This would be accomplished by the following: A1. Enter the chart Minimum and Maximum values you want to use in a cell. A2. Select these cells in each chart as the Minimum and Maximum of the chart. Axis Options - Minimum and Maximum Values
hi,
Lotus 1-2-3 version 1A (1981 I believe) allowed this, and we have asked for it for years. Still not happening. -- If this helps, please click the Yes button Cheers, Shane Devenshire "Tom" wrote: I'm sure this is a standing suggestion, but I thought I would add it again.
