Automate Outlook profiles for imaging
Is there a way to automate outlook profile creation in imaging?
Meaning I have created a string in the registry to force all PST's to My Documents, but I would like for all new outlook profiles created on each machine to hae the RPC over HTTP already configured etc. Is there a way to standardize this prior to creating my images? |

Microsoft uses text files with a .prf extension and a highly structured
format to provide information to OUtlook that enables Outlook to create or modify a mail profile. You can create such .prf files with the installation and maintenance tools in the Office Resource Kit. For more details, including a variety of .prf deployment methods, read the excellent white paper "Configuring Outlook Profiles by Using a PRF File" at http://office.microsoft.com/search/r...60 I&respos=3 The page at http://www.slipstick.com/exs/olroam.htm includes information on other profile tools and resources. -- Sue Mosher, Outlook MVP Author of Microsoft Outlook 2007 Programming: Jumpstart for Power Users and Administrators http://www.outlookcode.com/article.aspx?id=54 "Chris Wilcox" wrote: Is there a way to automate outlook profile creation in imaging?
