Default Certificates containing multiple subjects

I have a thawte freemail cert that has two different email addresses for its
subject. Outlook deals with the cert properly, that is, can match either of
the subject emails to the sender/recipient. Outlook Express 6.00.2900.2180
(xpsp_sp2_rtm.040803-2158), however, ignores the second subject.

Is there a workaround aside from getting separate certificates for each
account?

Will this be supported in future versions?

AFAIK, no.

Probably not, given that MS Outlook (not free) supports it.
