Default Import pst file, outlook 2007 windows 7

How do I import a pst file into outlook 2007? i am running windows 7. the
file came from outlook 2007, windows xp. i can import while it is on my
flash drive but I am can import it after I copy it to my hard drive. I get
an error like no admin rights. I am using a personal laptop.

Default Import pst file, outlook 2007 windows 7

You shouldn't use the import feature at all. Copy the pst-file to a
convenient location for you (such as My Documents\Outlook ) and then simply
connect to that pst-file via;
File- Open- Outlook Data File...
