i want to pass my address book from one PC to a new one, can't do

I have bought a new PC and want to pass my address book (outlook 2003 to the
new unit. Unfortunately have I not been able to do so. Also my previous mails
are not retsored either. Any suggestion ? The change is from XP to Windows
7.
