Default Office 2007 Home and Student: FileSend Copy to Mail Recipient grayed out

I thought I would check here for sure, but I've been told that "send copy to
mail recipient" on Home and Student edition isn't possible. I bought Office
2007 when I got my new computer this month, and so far I don't like it much,
the least of which is this issue.

The option is THERE, but it's grayed out. I added the XPS and PDF add-in as
suggested on Microsoft's site, but that doesn't work.

My computer is on Win XP Pro SP2.

Anyone knowing if this feature is available and how to do it, I'd appreciate
the info. I did locate a registry hack, but I hesitate to try it without
knowing it indeed will work on Home and Student edition.
