Default Environment Variables work First Time ONLY

Hello

We have a scripted build of office XP and are experiencing some issues.

We utilise custom environment variables to redirect a user to a shared
folder on a file server for My Documents, Templates, etc etc.... and use
group policy and variables for this task. Therefore when a user clicks file
open they are redirected to file server for a list of documents etc.. We do
this to prevent the users from accessing the local drive for any
document/template etc.

However, when the machine is cleanly built and the user clicks file open for
the first time, they are directed to the correct location on the server.
However, subsequent File Opens are not, these are directed to the Local drive
for some reason.

We have created a custom .MST file for installation of office XP and added
manual registry keys in the HKCU registry hive which include the environment
variable paths to the file server to try and force this via installation of
office.

Would be greatful if someone could assist.

Cheers

Darren
