Default import data from access database to outlook contact

When I try to import data from an access database into my contact (outlook) the system gives an error.
The Access file doesn't contain any table.
Does anyone now why I get this error?
I am using Windows XP and outlook 2002 and access 2002

Try exporting from Access to Excel, then importing from Outlook. Outlook contacts is compatible with Excel and that operation is an easy one when done between Outlook and Excel, instead of Access. Good luck!

Going on the premise that you have tables in your Access mdb file - one very
likely cause is that the table is a "linked table" which is not an available
choice in the Outlook import wizard. Ergo - if all your tables are linked to
another data source - it will come up with no tables available.

If your tables are linked to another Access MDB - then I suggest you use
that mdb file instead. Alternatively you can export your data to a CSV file
as has been suggested in Mark Silver's response to your message. If you're
doing this on a repetitive basis - either ContactGenie Importer or
ContactGenie DataPorter may be of some interest to you - both support
"linked tables" and "queries" in addition to standard tables.
