Default Print Order help!!

I'm on MSPP'02 and whenever I print preview, all my handouts are reversing
the order. Like for Asia or something, shows/prints from right to left and
bottom to top on the page (with the notes option - the additional lines -
they're printing on the left instead of right), how do I correct the order?

Hi Angela,

Check your printer settings first.

Thanks,
Glenna

There's nothing there to modify the layout of handouts. Nothing there
telling it to print this one for Arabic audiences. This is a specific file
problem, all others files are printing properly.

If it's only one presentation file, try HTML Round Tripping:

Didn't work, carried forward the handout printing order.

Any other ideas? Would screen prints of what I'm seeing help?

The system's language setting on the original presentation creator's system
determines the L=R vs. L=R order. This applies to the handouts, the slide
sorter and various other appearance settings. I'm guessing the presentation
was created originally on a machine that used L=R.

If you want to change the L=R to L=R then try creating a new blank
presentation on your system, then add all the slides from the original
presentation (using Insert | Slides From File... ).

Post back if this does not fix the print-out order.

Hi Angela,

Here's a better idea. I should have said it right at first:

Shyam Pillai (MVP)
http://www.mvps.org/skp/how/
Handout Wizard for PowerPoint 97/2000/XP New
Break free from the limitations imposed by PowerPoint on creation of
handouts. Create your own customized layouts and more. Fed up with the file
bloat of Send-To-Word option? Try a better alternative! Download it now.

Angela,
The presentation was probably created on a system which was using a
Right-To-Left layout. To correct this follow these steps:
1. Open the concerened presentation.
2. Switch to the Visual Basic Edition (VBE) by selects Tools | Macro |
Visual Basic Editor...
3. Select View | Immediate Window.
4. In the immediate window type the command give below and then press
ENTER
ActivePresentation.LayoutDirection=ppDirectionLeft ToRight
5. Select File | Close and return to Microsoft PowerPoint.

It should print normal now.
