Default send to PPT not working

Hello all,

I have tried the Send to PowerPoint feature with an 82 page Word document
but it doesn't work. All that happens is that PowerPoint opens with about
14 slides, the text on the 1st page of the Word document appears on slide 12
or 13 and nothing else appears anywhere in the PPT (white slides with 'Click
to add text').

Does anyone know how to fix this?

MS Word 2002, Windows XP OS

Thanks in advance

Raymond

Hi Raymond,

A Powerpoint group might be the best place to ask about this. From my
experience (dates back a few years), your document has to be structured
"properly" for this to work. Basically, it means you have to use Heading
styles, with HEading 1 creating a new slide, and other headings becoming
bullets on the slides...
