Accounting 2009 Pro on SQL Server 2008 Express
Hi there
MSOA 2009 Pro (Microsoft Office Accounting 2009 Professional) comes standard with Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express. Is it possible (as the setup suggests it is), to install MSOA 2009 Pro onto SQL Server 2008 (not 2005) Express? I have performed the installation of both correctly and pointed the MSOA to the SQL 2008 Express using the MSOA Data Tools. It reports that the instance cannot be found. I have also setup an ODBC to change the instance from the, default MSOA "MSSMLBIZ" to the default SQL "SQLEXPRESS", to no avail. Regards
