Difference System date and Excel Date function
If you want today's date (from the computer clock), use =TODAY() if you want
it to update with the new current date when you reopen the file or recalculate the sheet. If you want to put the current date into a cell, but for it not to update subsequently, use Control semi-colon. -- David Biddulph "Khalil" wrote in message ...
