Dear All,
is there a code that I can use to select the scanners, and then open the
default scanner to scan a picture, to be added to a form,
e.g making Identity cards
Thanks

FWIW Visual Basic code will frequently work in Access so see if the
scanner manufacturers or software vendors website has any VB code
samples.

I use the DBPix control which allows me to store either in or out of the
database:

If you are using Access 97, I'd also recommend looking at the Kodak ActiveX
controls which come free with the Office install. They work great for what
your requirements are. DBPix does much more, but it isn't free.
