Default How to read value of a cell in a relative location

I use data filters to display products from a particular vendor. When I apply
a filter, I want cell A1 to display the value of the cell that appears one
row down and one column to the left of the cell A1.

Thank you!

There is no column to the left of column A.

Need more detail. Tell us where the filter drop downs are located.
