Default Word 2007 - Heading Styles

How are you supposed to modify an outline created with heading styles? When
doing Modify... Format... Numbering, there is only "Define New Number
Format." I do not see the "Multi-Level" selection that, I am told, is the
2007 name for the 2003 "Customize." I can't get in there to make any
changes to my heading styles. If I use the Multilevel List icon, then I see
the "Define New Number Fiormat" but I no longer have my Heading styles
formatting. What gives here?

I found my answer. Have to click on the icon that says Multilevel List in
the Paragraph Group. How stupid is that!
