Publisher and PDF
I have downloaded the free pdf software that various people have
recommended - PrimoPDF - but this too does not give me options for bleed - I need to set the bleed distances. Any ideas? Chris "ChrisB" wrote in message ... We are having a colour problem with the printer we are sending the Publisher files to. He thinks it's because his version of PDF software is not compatible with Publisher - it keeps crashing. What is the best PDF software (version) to get to work with Publisher? Many thanks |

Publisher and PDF
You may need the Big Boy for that - Acrobat. PrimoPDF is great for
down-and-dirty .pdf file but short on options, as you've seen. -- JoAnn Paules MVP Microsoft [Publisher] "ChrisB" wrote in message ... Publisher and PDF
yep - ok thanks.
One other thing - what is the best way to deal with a file that is really huge. We have tried splitting it but this has not been successful at all and defeats the object of using Publisher (being able to see it in booklet format). We suspect it might be corrupted because it's so huge - even the pages that have no pictures are huge files on their own. Will the Pack & Go allow us to split it over several disks? Haven't tried this yet but just want to check I understand it's use - i.e. for sending to the Printer? "JoAnn Paules [MSFT MVP]" wrote in message ... You may need the Big Boy for that - Acrobat. Publisher and PDF
You have never mentioned what version Publisher you are using. If it is 2000;
Publisher did not support compression in the 2000 version, files will be quite large if many images are used. Did you use a wizard originally when you created your booklet? If the Wizard is not displayed, click Show Wizard in the lower-left corner of the Microsoft Publisher window. Click Extra Content. Click Delete All to delete all content not used in the current publication. Alternatively, click Delete to remove individual objects. Use the Pack and Go Wizard to pack or unpack publications for commercial printing http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/as...671351033.aspx -- Mary Sauer MSFT MVP http://office.microsoft.com/ http://msauer.mvps.org/ news://msnews.microsoft.com "ChrisB" wrote in message ... yep - ok thanks.
