Default Form based on select query

Hi,

I have a form based on a select query which uses selected information from
two tables; Clients and Claims. I need to add a couple of fields to the
Claims table which I have done and I have also amended the query to include
these fields, however, when I go to Field list on the Form to amend this part
of the database, the new fields are not shown. Why is this?

Thanks in advance.

Hi, Gillian.

when I go to Field list on the Form to amend this part
of the database, the new fields are not shown. Why is this?

Check the form's Record Source Property. Does it name the query, or does it use
a SQL statement? If it uses a SQL statement, you either need to change it to
the name of the query or amend the SQL statement so that the new columns are
included. After you change the Record Source Property, save the form and reopen
the Field List. The new column names will be listed.
